You must play a move in both chess and Gomoku within the shared 7-second limit.

Chess win +50 points · Gomoku win +10 pointsThis is an endless challenge. Winning restarts that board and raises the difficulty from Easy → Normal → Hard. Play continues at Hard and ends only on a timeout or defeat.

In Gomoku, you always play black stones and the computer plays white stones. The colors stay the same in every new game.

Start with your first chess move. Choose 7, 5, or 3 seconds first. The game starts as soon as you make an actual chess move. You can play Gomoku after that.

One timer, two moves. A chess move switches to Gomoku, and a Gomoku move switches to chess. After the computer replies and you can play again, the selected time limit starts afresh.

When computer waiting ends and player input becomes available, the selected time limit starts in full.

Win points are added to the final move's points. Captures do not earn a separate bonus.

Win to keep going. Only the board you win resets, and your total score is retained. Each win raises the computer's level from beginner to intermediate to advanced. Play continues at advanced level. A draw resets only that board without awarding win points.

Game over: The whole game ends if you fail to make both moves in time or lose to the computer on either board. The computer never makes your moves for you. The time limit keeps running even if you switch tabs.

Chess: You start as White. Standard rules apply, including check, checkmate, castling, en passant, promotion to your chosen piece, and draws. Only legal moves are allowed.

Gomoku: You start as Black on a 15×15 freestyle Gomoku board. Connect five or more stones horizontally, vertically, or diagonally to win. Forbidden moves such as double-three do not apply.

For rankings, the server verifies moves, time limits and scores. You can keep playing if the connection is lost, but that game cannot enter the rankings.

7-Second Gomoku Chess: Two Games, One Timer

7-Second Gomoku Chess challenges your judgment by making you play chess and Gomoku together. You play white in chess and black in Gomoku against the computer, and must make one move on each board before a shared timer runs out.

How to Play 7-Second Gomoku Chess

  1. Choose 7, 5, or 3 seconds, then move a chess piece to start. There is no start button.
  2. A chess move switches to Gomoku, and a Gomoku move switches to chess. After the computer replies and you can play again, the selected time limit starts afresh.
  3. When computer waiting ends and player input becomes available, the selected time limit starts in full.
  4. Only the board you win resets for a new game, and your score keeps accumulating. If time runs out or you lose on either board, share your results and review the moves in a replay.

Two Boards, One Time Limit

A chess move switches to Gomoku, and a Gomoku move switches back to chess. Complete both moves within each time limit. Switching boards does not restart the clock. The next time limit begins after both your moves and the computer’s replies are complete.

The 7-second mode gives you more time to get started; the 5- and 3-second modes challenge you to think faster. Points vary by mode, and capturing a chess piece only earns the usual move points. You cannot pause during play, and the timer keeps running even if you switch games or tabs.

Legal Moves and New Games After Wins

Chess uses standard rules for check, checkmate, castling, en passant, pawn promotion, and draws. Gomoku is played on a 15×15 board: connect five or more stones horizontally, vertically, or diagonally to win. There are no forbidden moves such as double-three. The computer only plays on its own turn.

Only the winning board resets, and your total score is retained. Each victory raises the computer's difficulty from beginner to intermediate to advanced. A draw resets that board without a win bonus. Losing on either board or failing to finish both moves in time ends the whole game.

Share Results and Replay Moves

The results window shows your final score, selected time mode, and why the game ended. Sharing opens your device's share panel when supported; otherwise, it copies your score and the game link. Replay lets you revisit the actual moves on both boards, including resets after wins.

Replays remain in the current page and are cleared by starting over or refreshing. Ranking scores are verified on the server; replay playback does not change scores.

How do scoring and pausing work in each time mode?

In 7-second mode, a chess win earns 50 points and a chess move 10; a Gomoku win earns 10 and a stone placement 5. In 5-second mode, these are 70, 20, 20, and 10; in 3-second mode, 100, 30, 40, and 20. Win points are added to the final move's points. There is no capture bonus, and leaving the screen does not pause the game.
